Picks 1&2 of 2011 --- SEC
After years of studying college football, I have one learned rule that generally, you should pick SEC teams in big games. There's a lot of rumors and speculations on the two big ticket games of Week 1, and ultimately I believe this helps the SEC teams even more (talking about UGA and LSU.) Well, here's the first two picks of the year.
GEORGIA +3.5
I think Georgia is more athletic all around. I am also on lookout for Kellen Moore to have a little senior slump. Boise isn't the ATM they used to be, even though their backers still think they are. But hey, I'll take the extra points that those guys give to us. 2 units on this one (average play)
LSU +3.5
The hype around this game has shifted the line dramatically (for whatever reason.) Just a few weeks ago, LSU was a 3 or 4 point fave here. Huge value for LSU backers. Anyone who knows this team knows that Jordan Jefferson was not going to make a big difference anyways.(2 units)
